Judy Ciacci, LMSW
Judy is a psychotherapist who works to help women become closer to themselves by shifting away from compulsion and towards mindful eating and living. She offers therapy, coaching, and resources for food and body issues via Skype sessions and her website, www.beingandeating.com. She currently works in-person in the Bronx, NY community at St. Barnabas Hospital, helping those suffering from anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues in group and individual settings. Judy graduated from NYU with both her MSW and BA in Psychology. She is part of an ongoing art therapy supervision group and a member of the Eating Disorder Activist Network. Judy counts Geneen Roth and Tara Brach among her most influential mentors, and uses a psychodynamic, Buddhist, relational approach. Judy loves soccer and Muay Thai kickboxing, and lives in NYC with her boyfriend, Anthony.
